I've run a few pair of other brands that were ok, but not awesome. These are amazing! My first time out with them I did an 8mi hike to Delta Lake in Grand Teton Nation Park. I could feel enough to grip with my toes so well on the way up and down. Maybe the ATRs or the Aspens would have been more appropriate, but these did just fine - I was semi-careful to avoid obviously sharp rocks and rarely did I feel any discomfort. I ran them with the peluva socks the first day then with no socks the second day...probably will go sockless from now on. I'm excited to get more miles and gym sessions on these bad boys!

I was a bit skeptical about how these would feel, but I have loved working out in the Strand Sports. From lifting to plyometrics, they have felt great. They are very minimalistic and not much material went into the production of the shoes. I know there are other costs involved, but these probably cost under $25 to manufacture so they have crazy high margins. The inflated price tag would be my one criticism.

I like the look and they are comfortable.

I use for walking the dog in the neighborhood and at the gym. Have gotten many comments and am able to talk about the shoes.

Very lightweight, look great, feel good on the feet. Suggest sizing up when getting, I have 4 pairs different styles and I went up 2 sizes for a perfect fit. I would DEFINITELY buy again.

I just submitted a review I called "Crazy 8th" referring to these, my 8th Peluva pair I've purchased. While I've tried the lightweight trainer when it first came out, and I have bought two pair of ATRs, and love the Ad Courts, these are my 4th (and if you count my wife's that came with this order, 5th) of the sport mesh, my favorite all around Peluvas. Best "all around." I love having a choice of colors (blue, black, and now white, with my wife having chosen red). There is just no going back to restrictive shoes for me, unless absolutely required. And now I have the excuse/reason for always wearing them: "I'm an ambassador. I can get you a discount." Maybe I'm too much of a Natural Evangelist, but c'mon people, you gotta try them to believe. And the best part? The one time I didn't like a pair (don't even recall which one it was, might not even be offered anymore?), customer service took it right back, no questions asked other than "What didn't work?" I HIGHLY recommend these shoes. Sure you'lll stand out, but you'll also stand UP and Roam like you've never felt before.

I love Peluvas! After a few years running with 5-Fingers, I found Peluvas a couple years ago and what a difference a little more protection and a lot more “glove” feeling makes. I wear the court shoes for “dress,” ATR for hiking and these mesh for everything g else, which is why I own a black, blue, and white pair. Just bought my wife her first mesh pair too. If you’re a first-timer like my wife, then you don’t know how they’re “supposed” to feel and it may take a few hours (1/2 hr at a time) to get used to them, but coming from the “other brand,” it’s like putting on a pair of driving gloves from back in the day. Except these are for my feet. I am ready to roam!
