Verified BuyerPerfect blend of comfort and function.
I'm very impressed! This is my second pair from Peluva. I have the Stand ATR which I absolutely love but I spend a good deal of time hiking in the Utah mountains, the Aspen Hiking Boot does an amazing job in that environment. They protect my feet and are still very lightweight and comfortable. Best of all they help my back pain a great deal. Since I've started wearing Peluva the pain in my lower back and hips has improved. After spending a year wearing Peluva I won't ever go back to traditional shoes.

FANTASTIC fit. Definitely need Peluva toe socks with Peluva shoes. Also, for Arizona , we will need protective spray for the suede to protect from sand, and red earth when hiking in Sedona.

One star off because this is my 7th or 8th pair of Peluvas so I thought I knew what size fits. This boot recommended sizing up but I’d already done that over the 2+ yrs I’ve worn Peluvas. So I hoped that my sizing up days were over. If I were to do it again, I would go to a men’s 10 on these boots as the fit is a bit snug and I’d rather have a little more room. History: When I bought my first Peluvas, I was wearing women’s size 10 in ordinary shoes, so my first order was 10.5. Next several orders were either women’s 11 or men’s 9.5. Now if i have to go another half size up, I’ll have sized out of any women’s models and only have men’s to choose from. Not totally awful because the men’s shoes generally have better functional colors.

Verified BuyerSo far very comfortable and still allowing toes to move.
I will be using these on a very rugged, steep hike/run in a couple weeks. I've been wearing them around normal surfaces to break them in and so far they are very comfortable. I've been using bare-foot style and 5-finger style footwear for a long time, but these are the first I've had for rough terrain. The sole is much thicker than the regular Peluvas, but still let the toes flex and grip. As far as I can tell they should work great.
