Feel barefoot.

I have been enjoying my desert boots. Not sure my feet feel any different yet, after 10 miles or so over five days, but I can feel the activation of my big toe a little bit more while walking, when compared to my normal somewhat minimalist or at least large-footbox shoes. I have received a couple of compliments on them. They are a bit formless and sloppy feeling but I also wear my shoes tied fairly loosely. I am glad these are an option to other “toed” shoes.

I love the women's Peluva desert boot. However, the woman's size 9 /1.5 is not available. So i looked at the sizing chart and decided to get the men's size 8/1.2. Off by 1cm. They fit nice.Especially with the socks. I'm planning on taking a hike in them on my upcoming trip to Panama. I love them.

Make sure you get a size bigger than your shoe size... Or else

Not comfortable

So far I have only had them for about 2 weeks. At this time the quality is great. The leather is nice and the fitting is as well. I have played airsoft with them on and they work well. Now on sizing I would agree with the others go one size up than what you would normally get.

For me it is taking some getting used to, especially on my left foot. I have some challenges with getting my toes fully in their slots. Not my big toe but the others, especially the smallest toe. It takes some work adjusting them all in. But once done it it worth it...I really like the feel of these shoes as I am doing my daily errands. I also get comments and questions from people.

My legs don’t hurt on long walk and my feet aren’t cramping anymore. My feet feel so free I forget they’re on by the end of the day. Gotta put some suede protection on them and then they’ll be more than perfect. If you have foot pain, these are the shoes for you if you like style and comfort

These have a different feel than the Strand ATR, which I expected. The sizing is also a little different. I think I could have gone with my normal size 12 instead of going up a half size. That said, I like them a lot. They're comfortable and not stiff at all. The leather is thin and flexible.
